This Privacy Policy explains how Savelo LLC ("Savelo," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and products, including Lumaform. We've written this in plain English because we believe you deserve to understand exactly how your data is handled.
1. Who We Are
Savelo LLC is a California-based company building AI-powered wellness tools. Lumaform is our flagship product — an AI nutrition coaching app for iOS. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at hi@savelohq.com.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information in a few different ways depending on how you interact with us:
Information you give us directly:
- Your email address, if you join our waitlist or contact us
- Any messages or feedback you send to us
- Account information when you create a Lumaform account (such as your name and email address)
Health and wellness data (Lumaform users only):
- Food and nutrition logs you enter manually or through integrations
- Dietary preferences, goals, and restrictions you provide
- Physical activity information, if you choose to share it
- Progress and check-in data you log within the app
Information collected automatically:
- Device type, operating system version, and app version
- General usage patterns (features used, session frequency)
- Crash reports and performance data to help us fix bugs
- IP address and general location (city/region level) for security purposes
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the data we collect to:
- Provide and improve Lumaform's nutrition coaching features
- Personalize AI-generated recommendations to your goals and preferences
- Send you product updates, waitlist notifications, or responses to your inquiries (you can opt out anytime)
- Diagnose technical issues and improve app performance
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your health or nutrition data to serve you advertisements.
4. AI Services and Third-Party APIs
Lumaform uses artificial intelligence to generate personalized nutrition guidance. To do this, we work with third-party AI providers. When you interact with Lumaform's coaching features, relevant portions of your data (such as your dietary goals or food logs) may be sent to these AI services to generate a response.
We select AI partners who maintain strong data protection standards, and we do not permit them to use your data to train their own models. However, you should be aware that data sent to third-party services is subject to their own privacy practices in addition to ours.
We may also use third-party services for:
- Analytics (to understand how people use the app, in aggregate)
- Cloud infrastructure and data storage
- Authentication and account security
- Payment processing (handled entirely by the third-party provider; we never store full card numbers)
We will always aim to disclose the specific third-party services we use in an updated version of this policy as Lumaform launches. If you have questions about a specific integration before then, email us at hi@savelohq.com.
5. Health Data
Health and nutrition data is sensitive, and we treat it that way. Your personal health information is stored with encryption at rest and in transit. We do not share your individual health data with advertisers, data brokers, employers, or insurers — ever.
If Lumaform integrates with Apple Health or similar platforms in the future, that data sharing will always be opt-in, and you can revoke access at any time through your device settings.
6. Data Retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we're required by law to retain it longer (for example, transaction records for tax purposes).
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — request that we delete your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
- Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.

8. Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. 9. Security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and will notify you promptly if a breach affects your data.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email (if we have it) or by posting a notice prominently on our website or app. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent changes were made. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
